About Silicone Rubber

This is an organosilicon material that has siloxane bonding as its backbone. As a consequence of this structure, the material has many unique properties, including cold resistance, heat resistance, weather resistance, electrical properties, and hygienic properties. There are also a number of types of silicone rubbers, which are divided into classifications including dimethyl silicone (MQ), methyl-vinyl silicone (VMQ), methyl-phenyl silicone (PVMQ), and fluorosilicone (FVMQ).
Each of these silicone types have advantages and disadvantages in the material properties described above. In addition, there are also differences in the vulcanization forms (the heating vulcanization type or room temperature curing type; millable type or liquid type; organic peroxide vulcanization or addition reaction vulcanization or other vulcanization).
The type of vulcanization used will change according to applications.

Because the structure is unique compared with other materials, silicone rubber is utilized in a wide range of applications, from automotive and medical equipment-related applications to food-related components, electric and electronic equipment, hot water supply systems, and industrial machinery-related applications.
While we mainly use millable type silicone, we also maintain separate facilities dedicated to liquid type molding, which mainly handle rubber products for medical use.
